FAQ

Is the timetable exactly accurate?

No — times are approximate. The departure time comes from the route schedule; times at intermediate stops are estimated from distance and average speed. Traffic and weather can change them, so reach the stop 10–15 minutes early. If something looks wrong, tell us from More → Feedback.

How do I report a late or cancelled bus?

Tap Report on the bus card → choose "Running late" or "Not running today". Usually a warning shows on the card once at least 2 people report, and reports expire after 12 hours. If you reported by mistake, tap "All fine" to remove your report.

How is the fare calculated?

It is the full-route fare scaled by distance and rounded to the nearest ₹5 (minimum ₹10). It is approximate — the conductor may charge slightly differently.

What if there is no direct bus?

The search shows a "Possible with one change" section: where to get off, how long you wait, total time and fare.

How does "Buses near me" work?

Tap 📍 Buses near me on the Search page and allow the browser permission. It finds the stops closest to you and lists every bus there by time. Your position stays on your phone and never goes to the server. If you do not allow it, you can pick a stop by hand.

Why is the nearest stop wrong?

Some stop positions are approximate (town centre), so they can sit a little away from the real bus stand. If it looks wrong, pick the stop yourself and tell us via Feedback — we will fix it.

Can I use it without Google login?

Yes, every feature works without login. Signing in syncs your saved buses across devices, lets you keep home/work stops in your profile, and makes your reports more trusted.

Does it work without internet?

The last timetable you loaded is saved on your phone, so next buses, routes and buses at nearby stops still show offline. Only sending reports and getting fresh data need internet.

How do I add it to my home screen?

Tap 📲 Add to Home screen at the bottom of the page. Android Chrome: ⋮ menu → Install app. iPhone Safari: Share → Add to Home Screen.

How do * and ? work in search?

* stands for any letters, ? for a single letter. For example "Aram*" finds Arambagh. Use it when you are unsure of a spelling. You can type in Bengali, English or Hindi.

How do I get a new route or bus added, or a mistake fixed?

Use More → Feedback, choose the type and tell us. Route number, bus number and times help us fix it faster. If you own or drive a bus, leave a contact number.

How do I delete my data?

Sign in and go to More → Profile → Delete account. This removes your profile, saved buses and personal data. You can first use "Download my data" if you want a copy.

How do I get a reminder before my bus leaves?

Save the bus with ⭐ Save, then open the Saved tab and tap 🔔 Turn on reminders, and allow the browser permission. You get a notification about 15 minutes before it leaves — including any delay or cancellation notice. On iPhone, first use Share → Add to Home Screen and open it as an app.

What is "Bus is here"?

When you see a bus at a stop, tap 🚌 I saw this bus on its card — which stop, and when. Other passengers then see "seen N minutes ago at X, roughly Y minutes late". More people confirming makes it more reliable. Please never report false sightings — it wastes other people's time.

What does the ✔ "verified operator" badge mean?

The bus owner/driver is connected with us and posts their own phone number and today's status (late / not running). That is treated as more reliable than passenger reports. If you own or drive a bus, tell us via More → Feedback and we will set up a login for you.

Where do I get delay or cancellation news?

A coloured notice bar at the top of the site, a notification if you turned on reminders, and our WhatsApp / Telegram channel (links in the More tab, when available). For any major disruption we post in all of these.
